The Legacy of a Beginning
Father of 13 nine daughters and four sons. Entered into the United States Army at 17 years old and survived the Vietnam War. He was a chef instructor at IM Terrell College, Fort Worth, Texas. Which was also the high school where he graduated from. As a dedicated National Association for Blacked Veterans (NABVET) Site Commander that assisted many veterans with obtaining their military benefits. After fighting and navigating through the chaos for 27 years before he himself was able to get his military benefits. And one of original members who had chained himself along with other community members of the Old Coleman School prevented the school demolition. Board member of the original African American Heritage Museum and Cultural Center as a result of that action and is now an existing African American Heritage Museum in the Greater City of Seattleās Central District.
