On reading an article on Lois Janet Latham I noticed that there was no information on her parents or siblings. Although I am not a relation to her I have a lot of information on the Mankey extended family from Cornwall and the McAuley family from Scotland. These two families came free to Australia where they scattered over the years into South Australia, Victoria, NSW and possibly the other states as well.
Tobias Mankey was married to Elizabeth Peters in Cornwall and settled in Victoria.
Their son Tobias Mankey married Ann McAuley in 1862 in VIC. But, she came to Australia from Isle of Skye, SCT with her parents Neil McAuley and his wife Ann Maclean. NOW this is my connection. When my grandfather left Skye to come to Australia, he met up with his cousin Thomas Peters Mankey at Rose Bay, NSW.
I'm not sure if it would be a 1st cousin, but he looked him up when he arrived. I have other Maclean family lines on Skye and an adjoining island.
After all this waffling I will give the information re Lois Janet Latham's family.
They returned to Australia after Bertrand's working in the USA. I don't know if Lois returned as I've not found anything about her, but her 2 brother and 1 sister married in NSW and the whole family died in NSW.

Leslie Vivian Latham b. 7 June 1917 Roseville, NSW, AUST d. 1980.
Marjorie Olive Thurlow nee Latham b. 14 December 1919. Haven't checked her death.
Parents died 1961 and 1962 in Sydney area.
