My grandmother
I have many fond memories of my abuleta. She taught me so many things that if not for her I would never been the person I am today. From sewing by hand, doing laundry the old fashion way with a scrub board to cooking in an old wood stove, planting, knitting, taking care of farm animals and being a happy child. She gave me my Indian gear. Dress, moccasin, head band and jewel. She was an Actecz Native, born and raise in Acuna Mexico.
