  • Introduction

My dad was a good man and loved by all who knew him. He liked bringing joy and happiness to people's lives. He worked very hard to take care of his four children, Devon,Tiffany,Chaliss, and Jennifer. He was the only child of Earl Jahn and Vestina Swan but had four half siblings. He was taken from his loved ones in a tragic accident that has never been forgotten as he was a one of a kind irreplaceable man by all who knew and loved him. He loved cars planes fishing and his favorite dessert was cheesecake. His favorite color was blue which was the same color as his casket which was draped with the american flag and roses his favorite flower. He liked to watch Star trek,Star wars, the saints, and wrestling which is something we used to talk about often as well as space. I remember as a kid being afraid of thunder and he told me not to be scared that it was just the clouds fighting with each other and the rain was the tears from it and that eventually things would get better. He used to wear a Halloween mask and play hide n seek with his kids and throw us over his shoulder saying he had a sack of potatoes. He played the hermonica and was teaching me to. I remember losing a tooth and it falling down the drain in the sink and he wrote a note to the toothfairy to put on the bathroom door letting them know where to find the tooth. My dad got us a dog that he named poohyuck and I remember how funny people would look at us when we hollared for him.He loved Garth Brooks and some hairbands. He was and will always be the best dad to me.
