The following obituary appeared in the Star Tribune (Minneapolis, Minnesota), on Tuesday, April 13, 1999 on page 24: MUMFORD Tye A.,, age 35, of Minneapolis, lost his courageous battle April 12, 1999. Survived by parents, Thomas & Janice; sister Tifany; brother-in-law, Randy; nephew, Bradey; grandmothers, Lorena & Frieda; dear friend, Peter, and many other relatives and friends. Tye will be remembered for his wise-crack sense of humor and his amazing strength to live. Life will never be the same without him. In lieu of flowers, donations requested to Minnesota AIDS Project. Funeral service Wenesday, APril 14, 11a.m. Sunset Memorial Chapel (2250 St. Anthony Blvd.) Visitation 1.2 hour prior to service.
