I met Valerie in 1973, we began dating and it was a great relationship. She had such a wonderful smile and laugh. We continue to date until I went into the Army in 1974. She came with my parents to my graduation of basic training. She had such a joyous sprit. Well our relationship was distant after that due to me being gone, so our relationship ended. I did not see her again until Jan of 1977. Boy did I miss her and she was so beautiful. By now she had a son but was single. I told her I would be coming home for good in April of 1977 and would like to see her again, but as it goes it never happened. I have thought about her thru the years with very fond memories and I had always wished I would talk to her again. Well God had other plans for her and took her home on Nov, 6th of 2003. She was just 45 years old. Valerie I shall alway have you in my heart until we meet again.
