Vera LaTwyle Sehestedt was born in Lincoln, Nebraska July 27, 1935. Vera drowned in a boating accident in Coose Bay, Oregon in 1993. She was the loving mother of four, married twice. First to William A. Graves: three children-William A. Graves July 26, 1954, Penny M. Graves February 26, 1956, Rose L. Graves March 6, 1960. Remarried to Courtney Ellsworth Powell: one child-Dewey D. Powell, step-son Ernie Powell. Vera was preceded in death by: her mother: Heddy Martin, Sehestedt and father: Ralph Sehestedt and brother Billie Sehestedt. Vera was a kind and loving person, one hell of a cook and could sew anything.
