    Vera Bridwell, 85, widow of Gordon Bridwell Sr., died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, at Laurel Bay Health Care. Mrs. Bridwell was born in Anderson, a daughter of the late Charles and Martha Stone Whisenant. She was a homemaker and was a member of Taylors First Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Gordon Bridwell Jr., of Taylors, and Liam Gwynn Sauer-Wooden (ne Charles Josepgh Bridcwell) of Washington state, sisters, Aileen, Audrey, and Gaynell; and brothers, Charles and Jack, all of Greenville. Mrs. Bridwell was predeceased by her parents, husband and a brother, James. Services will be private at a later date.
