I was too young to remember much about grandma Morrison, but I particularly remember her beautiful house with it's shiny wood floors and the feast she cooked up one Thanksgiving. She also did beautiful needlework pillows and had an old german cuckoo clock that fascinated me. She had a beautiful yard with soft clover and a neat old metal yard swing we all used to congregate around in nice weather. She seemed very tall and thin in my memories, but I was about 5 or 6 years old the last time I saw her. She was kind. She had black or very dark brown long hair with a lot of gray in it, that she usually wore in a bun. She wore red lipstick and often wore shirtwaist dresses with a below the knee length.
