Victor W D'Orazi was born on March 30, 1915 to Giovanni D'Orazi and Rosina Bugli D'Orazi, and had siblings John Zachary D'Orazi, James Zachary D'Orazi, Anthony D'Orazi, Joseph D'Orazi, Helen D'Orazi, Albert D'Orazi, Ann D'Orazi, Ferdinand D'Orazi, and Marie D'Orazi. He married Florence Elizabeth D'Orazi, and died at age 66 years old on June 23, 1981. Victor D'Orazi was buried at Golden Gate National Cemetery Section 2F Site 510-D 1300 Sneath Lane, in San Bruno, Ca.

In 1915, in the year that Victor W D'Orazi was born, The Birth of a Nation opened in February. A silent film, it was the most ambitious film to date and is considered a classic. Three hours long, it starred Lillian Gish and was directed by D. W. Griffith. The movie was based on the book The Clansman and told the story of two families (one pro-Union and one pro-Confederate) and their relationship during the Civil War and Reconstruction. The KKK was shown as "a heroic force".

In 1926, at the age of just 11 years old, Victor was alive when on November 15th, NBC was founded. It was the U.S.'s first major broadcast network. Ownership of the network was split between RCA (a majority partner at 50%), its founding corporate parent General Electric (which owned 30%), and Westinghouse (which owned the remaining 20%).
