Violestine's biological parents are James A. Portwood and Earnestine Brown. Earnestine is 1 of 18 plus siblings of the late Frankie Mae Wynn and Richard Brown. Frankie was 1 of the 13 siblings of Mary and Luther Wynn of (Native American decent). Violestine's grandfather on her mother's side was the late Reverend Richard Brown of Brinkley, Ark.. Richard had two brothers Bud and James Brown, and sister Willa Brown. Violestine doesn't know much about her biological father's background history due to very little information found on the Portwood surname. What was found was the Portwood surname and Family Crest, which if accurate would explain her European and Wales DNA lineages.
