Violet was born in Sydney. In 1906 she was in New Zealand & married Walter Leslie BREEN. In 1914 they came back to Australia, possibly Sydney but they then moved to Coburg in Melbourne. Violet was affectionately referred to by many as Aunty Mum, even her children.
