Violet May (Him) Nam was born on March 23, 1910 to Lily Ann (Ah Yet) Him and Luie Him, and had siblings Lizzie Moy, Louisa Chung, George Him, and Robert Him. She married Herbert Arthur Nam, and had a child Keith Nam. Violet Nam died at age 96 years old on September 22, 2006, and was buried at Templestowe Cemetery 263 Foote St, in Templestowe, Manningham City County, VIC Australia.
