Virginia Frances (LaVecchia) Zeek was born on August 24, 1946 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania United States to James Vincent LaVecchia and Theresa (Volpe) LaVecchia, and had siblings Theresa Barbara Baker and Salvatore James LaVecchia. She married James Andrew Zeek on August 7, 1966 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA, and they were married until Virginia's death on April 3, 2022 at St. Mary Medical Center 1201 Langhorne Newtown Road, in Langhorne, Bucks County. She had children James Vincent Zeek, Charles Anthony Zeek, and Joseph Anthony Zeek. Virginia Zeek was buried on April 9, 2022 in Richboro.

Virginia F. (LaVecchia) Zeek passed away on Sunday April 3,2022 at Saint Mary Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 75 years old and a 38 year resident of Forest Grove,PA. Virginia enjoyed doing many things,some of her favorite included cooking,sewing,painting and traveling. She and her husband Jim were Florida "snowbirds" and Disney season pass holders. They enjoyed seeing the United States and parts of Canada and traveled together around the western part of the country,including California,Colorado and Las Vegas,Nevada. She enjoyed going to the casino,car shows,and the drag races. She and Jim celebrated their wedding anniversary each year with a trip to the Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk,OH,where she was known as "Momma Zeek". Virginia was the beloved wife of James A. Zeek and the loving mother of James V. Zeek (Veronica),Charles A. Zeek (Stephanie) and Joseph A. Zeek (Donna). She was the beloved grandmother of Jamie L. Zeek (Edward Jones),Larissa Zeek-Weiler (Cody Clemens),Brynn Bollinger,Josh Downing and Ashley Escobar (Fernando) and honorary great-grandmother of Noelle,Mackenzie,Luca and Brayson. She is also survived by her sister Theresa Baker (Martin),brother Salvatore LaVecchia (Joyce) former daughter-in-law Francine Bollinger (George) and many nieces and nephews as well as her beloved dog Harley and her extended Pontiac family. Family and friends are invited to gather Saturday, April 9,2022 from 9:30 A.M. until her memorial service begins at 11:30 A.M. at Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home,905 Second St.Pike,Richboro,PA 18954. In lieu of flowers,contributions in Virginia's memory to the DaVita Newtown Dialysis Center at the address below in the contributions section would be appreciated to her family.
