My grandmother was the most wonderful, beautiful and hard working woman. She loved the church and helping the community.
She loved to paint on glass, cross stitching on clothes, play piano, going to theaters to watch a play, gardening, cooking.
She would leave a tin of various cookies in the laundry room for us grandkids, we were taught to ask permission first before getting any cookies. My favorite was oatmeal raisin cookies with white frosting on top.
