Vivian Ione (Blunt) Eichmeier of Rockford, Floyd County, IA was born on July 25, 1927 to Virgil Blunt and Grace (Helmers) Blunt. Vivian Eichmeier had siblings Edwin "Ike" Blunt, Lola Michaelson, Vera Krause, Dorothy Smith, Marie Schuster, Arlene Willson, and Dennis Blunt. They married Lavonne Eichmeier, and they had children Danny Joe Eichmeier, Michael Eichmeier, and Richard Eichmeier. They were the parent of Danny Joe Eichmeier, Richard Eichmeier, and Michael Eichmeier. Vivian Eichmeier died at age 81 years old on December 26, 2008 at Chautauqua Guest Home 11th St, in Charles City IA, and was buried in Rockford.

Vivian Ione Blunt Eichmeier was born July 25, 1927, in Floyd County, the daughter of Virgil and Grace (Helmers) Blunt. She graduated from the Rockford High School. On May 31, 1946, she was united in marriage to Lavonne Eichmeier at Rockford. Living family members include her three sons, Richard (Marcella) Eichmeier of Lake Mills, Danny Eichmeier of Marble Rock and Michael Eichmeier of Rockford; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Vera Krause of Rockford; a brother, Edwin Blunt of North Dakota; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lavonne on April 20, 2007; four sisters, Lola Michaelson, Dorothy Smith, Arlene Willson and Marie Schuster; and her brother, Dennis Blunt.
