    The following appeared in the Pratt Tribune on 10/3/2000. Wah-leeta M. Steckline GARDEN PLAIN Wah-leeta M. Steckline, 59, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000. She was born Aug. 2, 1941, in Lafayette, La., to Frank and Myrtle Marie (Etheridge) Schubert. She was a partner in Mid-America Ag Network. Survivors include her husband, Larry, former Hays resident; a son, Greg, Garden Plain; two daughters, Anita Cochran, Wichita, and Shasta Wewe, Pretty Prairie; two brothers, Charles Schubert, New Castle, Del., and Don Schubert, Erie, Pa., and eight grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Garden Plain. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Downing & Lahey Mortuary, Wichita, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the Wah-leeta M. Steckline scholarship fund at Newman University, 3100 W. McCormick, Wichita KS 67213.
