Gunner Lister
Walter Lister was killed in action in the Middle East. He was a gunner: No.1460011. He was in the HQ of the 57th Light anti-aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery when he died.

Howard attended the Travis School and was a member of the Church Lads Brigade.. He joined up on October 6th, 1939.
Prior to joining up, he worked as a chauffeur for Mr Whittaker of Broom Lodge, Ash Hill.
His mother Alice Lister lived at 171 High Street, Dunsville, Doncaster
