Walter Scrivenor 1829 - 1894
Walter Scrivenor was born in 1829 to John Walter Scrivenor and Frances Ann (Williams) Scrivenor, and had siblings Eliza Octavia Hamilton (Scrivenor) Moon and Frederick William Scrivenor. He was in a relationship with Rhoda (Spencer) Scrivenor, and had children Frances Rose (Scrivenor) Glenwright, Walter Hamilton Spencer Scrivenor, Rhoda Ellen (Scrivenor) Miller, Lewis Guy Scrivenor, Arthur Harry Scrivenor, Edith Alexandra (Scrivenor) Wright, and Florence Mary Eva (Scrivenor) Polglass. Walter Scrivenor died at age 65 years old in 1894 in Dunedin, Otago New Zealand.

The Evening Star, Dunedin, New Zealand. 21st February 1894. SUDDEN DEATH. Walter Scrivenor, a married man, aged sixty years, residing in Elgin street, Mornington, died suddenly at about four o'clock yesterday afternoon. Deceased, who was employed as an accountant in Chapman, Sinclair, and White's office in Bond-street, had been in bad health for the past four months, and had been attended by Dr. Davies. He had made preparations for leaving for Melbourne yesterday afternoon, when he took ill, lay down on his bed, and soon afterwards expired. Dr. Davies was of the opinion that deceased died from failure of the heart's action, and the coroner deemed it unnecessary to hold an inquest.
