Watkin Wynn's family surname were once spelt without the 'e'. They were Wynn's. The 'e' was added after his dad committed suicide. At one time they thought they were connected to the uncrowned King of Wales Sir Watkin Williams Wynn from Garthewin in Denbigshire in North Wales. I did visit Garthewin some years ago now in Wales. My Grandmother Dorothy told me about the family history some years ago. I am now an Historian and now have my own Archival Library at home. Watkin Wynne Journalist is my GG Grandfather.
