Matthew Wayne Pierce of Ohio was born on March 10, 1956 in McArthur, Vinton County to Hiram Demery Pierce and Polly Elizabeth (Worrix) Pierce. He had siblings Roger Pierce, Marjorie (Pierce) Duerler, Daniel Pierce, and Ralph Pierce. He married Mary (Post) Pierce on February 16, 1980 in McArthur, Vinton County and they later divorced on October 1, 1995. Matthew Pierce died at age 54 years old on September 10, 2010 at Logan in Logan, Hocking County, and was buried on September 13, 2010 in McArthur, Vinton County.
