    Quida Mae 'Weda' Muse was born to Leona Johnson (1904-1964) and Stonewall Davies Walter aka Adolph Sexton Muse (1873-1950) on September 10, 1939 in Walnutridge, Arkansas. She grew up in Campbell, Lawrence, Arkansas. In the mid 1950's she moved to Illinois and on April 20, 1957 she married Rev Charles L Mowdy (1936-2021) in Winnebago, Illinois. They had a few children including a sons Charles Dewaine/Dewayne Mowdy Sr (1957-2004) and Richard Dean Mowdy. On April 4, 1999 Quida Mae 'Weda' Mowdy passed away in Kingsport, Sullivan, Tennessee.

Poland expected help from France and the United Kingdom, since they had a pact with both. But no help came. By October 6th, the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany held full control of the previously Polish lands. Eventually, the invasion of Poland lead to World War II.

In 1941, Quida was merely 2 years old when on June 25th, President Roosevelt signed Executive Order 8802, prohibiting racial discrimination in the defense industry. EO 8802 was the first federal action to prohibit employment discrimination - without prejudice as to "race, creed, color, or national origin" - in the U.S. Civil Rights groups had planned a march on Washington D.C. to protest for equal rights but with the signing of the Order, they canceled the March.
