Wendy Dunbar East Vandergrift Formerly of Brackenridge Wendy Jendrejewski Dunbar, 39, of East Vandergrift, formerly of Brackenridge, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born Dec. 21, 1967, in Natrona Heights, the daughter of Mary Cornmesser Bogan, of Calabash, N.C., and the late Joseph Jendrejewski. Wendy was a member of the Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church and the Slovak Club in East Vandergrift. She enjoyed baking, collecting angels, vacationing at Myrtle Beach, her dog, JB, and spending time with her family, especially her two nephews. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two brothers, Joseph (Charlene) Jendrejewski, of West Leechburg, and Kurt Jendrejewski, of Natrona Heights; two sisters, Jodi Jendrejewski, of Fawn Township, and Jackie Jendrejewski, of Brackenridge; two nephews, Joey and Jacob Jendrejewski, of West Leechburg; and her stepmother, Paulette Jendrejewski, of Brackenridge. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Barry R. Dunbar, on Sept. 27, 2002; her son, Paul J. Dunbar, on March 23, 1997; and by her stepfather, George Bogan, on May 1, 2007. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, Funeral ceremonies will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev. R. Cameron Malcolm IV, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. (Obituary from The Valley News Dispatch, Tarentum, Pa.)
