    Wilbur Frederick Gueren was the son of Frederick W Gueren Jr and Margaret Rose Gueren. He had a brother Robert Andrew Gueren (1921-2013). He was a lifelong resident of New York. He was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Queens. He later lived in Manhattan. On July 18, 1941 he married Mildred Deboer (1916-1973) in New York City. The couple had two sons together: James Joseph Gueren (1942-1998) and Richard Andrew Gueren (1948-2016). Wilbur then enlisted into the US Army on December 1, 1942 in New York City New York with Military serial#: 32650885. He served as a TEC 5 and was a veteran of World War II. He served from December 1, 1942 until his discharge on May 28, 1946. Back in civilian life, he was a manager for a Wholesale & Retail Auto Parts Co. Wilbur Gueren passed away on April 6, 1980 in New York.
