  • Introduction

    I never met Wilbur, he was my late husbands (Bob) father. I know that he was loved by his children and was dearly missed by all. Bob always shared lots of stories of his dad. Losing him at such and early age certainly took its toll on al of them. I am not certain but I believe Rose's maiden was Vossholler. Bob spoke of family gatherings with the purpose of buthchering hogs as a family, this would last a good part of a weekend. Lots of fun from his pespective as a kid with all the cousins. Sounded like a healthy German tradition, however I belive Weder (pronounce Vader) is Swedish?

    Wilbur had four children with Rose and lived near St. Jacob IL. Robert (Sandy, Sandy & Lou Ann), Thomas (Judy), Gary( Valerie & Mary) and Nancy (Steve) Peters and 6 Grandchildren.
