He married Hilda Annie Woolan ( Dean, and had children Gertrude Hilda Woolan, Leonard William Woolan, Lionel Arthur Woolan, Roy Woolan, William Andrew Woolan Jnr, Ada Annie Campbell ( Woolan, Clyde Woolan, and Ernest Woolan. William Woolan died at age 61 years old on May 22, 1929 in Warragul, Baw Baw Shire County, VIC Australia.
