William Baxter Snody was born in 1847 to John Robert Snoddy and Delilah (Tribble) Snoddy. He was in a relationship with Mary Elizabeth Snody, and had children Myrtle (Snody) Kuykendall, Walter Snody, Robert Snody, Mae Bell Snody, William Snody, Cora Snody, and Ennis Snody. William Snody died at age 50 years old on November 7, 1898, and was buried in Arlington, Tarrant County, Texas United States.

    William B. Snody was a soldier in the United States Civil War. William B. Snody fought in the Civil War for the Confederacy in the 41 Tennessee Infantry. He entered the war with the rank of Private, and left with the rank of Private. Married Elizabeth Wadsworth 1871 in Georgia Ennis Roy Snody was born on month day 1889, at birth place, Texas, to William Baxter Snoddy and Mary Elizabeth Wadsworth. William was born in 1840, in Lincoln, Tennessee, United States. Mary was born on March 9 1848, in Wellborn, Columbia, Florida, United States. Ennis had 6 siblings: Walter Franklin Snody, Rober Lee Snody and 4 other siblings. Ennis passed away on month day 1936, at age 47 at death place, Texas. ****** additional information******** SNODY, W. B., Pvt., Co. A, Joined May 1862. Refugee from Ft. Donelson, Co. K, 41st TN Infantry Regiment. Severely wounded in bowels at Murfreesboro Dec. 31, 1862. Captured and forwarded to Camp Butler, Ill. Exchanged and assigned to Invalid Corps. Retired Aug. 9, 1864 'totally disqualified'. I did not know that he was wounded badly. *****William Baxter Snody died November 8, 1899, in Tarrant County, Texas. His wife was Mary Elizabeth Wadsworth. *******additional information**** Christy Daylynn LEFTWICH PEDDY STEELEY 24 Dec 1953 – 29 Sep 2008 Christy STEELEY, 54, of Navasota passed away on Monday, September 29, 2008, at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. Services are set for 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 1, at Callaway-Jones Chapel. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to the time of service on Wednesday at Callaway-Jones. Interment will be 10 a.m., Thursday at Breckenridge Cemetery. Christy was born on December 24, 1953, in Midland and graduated from Blinn Nursing School. She was a Registered Nurse at Navasota Nursing. Survivors include her husband, Ron STEELEY of Navasota; son and daughter-in-law, Corey PEDDY and wife, Stephanie of San Angelo; daughters and sons-in-law, Kay Lynn PEDDY-RIVERA and husband, Adrian of Bryan, and Trisha BAKER and husband, Robert of Bryan; brothers and sister-in-law, Alan LEFTWICH and wife, Kathy of Spring, and Artie LEFTWICH, Sr. of Navasota; father, Artie LEFTWICH of Lubbock; grandchildren, Corey THOMAS, Duskie SNOWDY, Daunevyn SNOWDY, Robert BAKER, Jr., Erica PEDDY and Drew PEDDY; nephew, Coby LEFTWICH; neice, Lindsey LEFTWICH. William D. "Bill" SNODY

Bill SNODY -- age 78 of Rowlett, passed away peacefully at home Thursday,
December 12, 2002. He was born June 6, 1924 in Benjamin, TX to William
Daniel and Maud (HALL) SNODY. He served honorably in the United States Army
during World War II and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Midland. Bill
was a retired carpenter and a loyal employee of Rest Haven Funeral Home
before his illness.

Bill is survived by his loving wife: Charlcie of Rowlett; sons: Bill
SNODY, Jr. of Dallas, Jack W. SNODY of Garland, and Randell SNODY of
Greenville; brother: Doyle SNODY of Midland; sister: Betty LAKE of Mesquite;
4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many other family members and
friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:00am Saturday, December 14, 2002 at
Trinity Life Baptist Church in Garland with Pastor Russell ROGERS
officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. The
family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00pm Friday evening at Rest Haven
Funeral Home-Rowlett Chapel. The family would like to express a special
thanks to Dr. Boswank and his staff at Texas Oncology and to Vista Hospice
for all of their care. Memorial contributions may be made to the American
Cancer Society, Area V Memorial Program,P.O. Box 560089, Dallas, TX
75356-0089.
