William C. Leek was born on May 19, 1809 in Morris County, New Jersey United States to Daniel H. Leek and Jane M. Chipps, and had siblings Thomas Leek, Lemuel Fordham Leek, Daniel Talmadge Leek, Emeline H. Leek, and Esther H. Leek. He married Martha T. Skellinger, and had children Stephen H. Leek, Daniel H. Leek, Lydia Esther Leek, Martha Jane Leek, and Samuel S. Leek. William Leek died at age 81 years old on June 9, 1890 in Chester Township, and was buried in June 1890 at Chester Congregational Cemetery in Chester Township.
