William Charles Murcutt of Richmond Australia was born on February 2, 1885 in Bruthen, East Gippsland Shire County, VIC to William "Bill" John Murcutt and Eva Susannah (Ratcliffe) Murcutt. He had siblings Joseph Wilson James Murcutt, Eva (Murcutt) Hillman, Mary Jane "Molly" Murcutt, Lillian Elizabeth Murcutt, Harold Osborne Murcutt, Ethel May Veronica Murcutt, Phoebe Caroline Murcutt Zerna, Florence Myrtle Murcutt, Dorothy Kathleen Murcutt, James Murcutt, Jack Murcutt, Bruce Howard Stanley Murcutt, and Francis Percival Murcutt. He married Ida Cheeney in 1919, and had a child Sadie Elsa Murcutt. William Murcutt died at age 38 years old on July 27, 1923 in Greenvale, City of Hume County.
