Chisholm and Christina Grant, and had siblings Valentine Chisholm and Catherine "Kate"MacKenzie (Chisholm). He was in a relationship with Mary Genevieve, and had children Donald Angus Chisholm, William Cameron Chisholm, Mary Evangeline "Vange" Chisholm, Helen Cecila Chisholm, Joseph Vincent Chisholm, Christina Robina Chisholm, and Colin Seaward Chisholm. William Chisholm died at age 80 years old on March 17, 1962 at New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.

My Grandfather William Chisholm was employed as a Locomotive Engineer for the Canadian National Railway System and was elected in 1939 to drive the Royal Train for King George and Queen Elizabeth during their visit to Nova Scotia in 1939. He did receive a medal from the King and Queen for his valued service to them.
