    Times Leader Powered by William Keil Obituary - White Haven, PA | Times Leader Obituary Events William D. Keil WHITE HAVEN — William D. Keil, 69, of White Haven, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 4, 2015. He was born on June 24, 1946, in Wilkes-Barre, and was a graduate of Nescopeck High School. He was the son of the late William R. Keil Jr. and Louise C. Keil. William was employed at North East Transfer and Auto-Bus Tours in Mountain Top, from 1969 until his retirement in 2012, working first as a truck driver and then as operations manager for both companies. He also served as a school bus driver for the past five years with Rinehimer Bus Lines and a school bus driving instructor, even after retirement. William was a member of the Knights of Columbus and also volunteered for several years as a youth baseball coach. A dedicated family man, he lived for his grandchildren. He loved nothing more than to be surrounded by them and spending time with them at all family functions and holidays. Along with his parents, William was preceded in death by his sons, (infant) Steven A., and Kevin A. William is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara (Dixon) Keil; three daughters, Annette and Gabriel Acker, Hobbie, Heidi and Rodney Spencer, Troy, Illinois, and Cindy Keil, White Haven; four sons, Keith Keil, Sweet Valley, William D. Keil Jr. amd his fiancee, Amber Hook, White Haven, Jeffery Keil, White Haven, and Christopher and Amy Keil, White Haven. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Terry and John Miller, Dorrance. The funeral will be held 10:15 a.m. Thursday from the McCune Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, White Haven. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
