William Dawes was born in 1883 to Alfred Thomas Dawes and Louisa Morgan, and had siblings Albert Dawes, Gladstone Dawes, Charlotte Dawes, Louisa Morgan Dawes, Olive May (Dawes) Lewis, George Morgan Dawes, Thomas Dawes, Florence Dawes, and Henry Dawes. William Dawes died at age 79 years old in 1962 in Murrumbeena, Glen Eira City County, VIC Australia.
