William Denby Hanna 1910 - 2001

William Denby Hanna of Orange County, California United States was born on July 14, 1910 in Melrose, Curry County, NM to Avice Joyce (Denby) Hanna and William J Hanna. He had siblings Constance L (Hanna) McKelvey, Norma L (Hanna) Williams, Marion L (Hanna) Stevens, Evelyn L (Hanna ) Douglass, and Jessie L (Hanna) Townley. William was baptized in 1910 in Melrose. He married Violet Blanche (Wogatzke) Hanna on August 7, 1936, and they were married until Violet's death on July 11, 2014. They had children David William Hanna and Bonnie J (Hanna) Williams. William's partner was Joseph Roland Barbera in August 1939 at MGM Cartoon studio Montana avenue, in Culver City, Los Angeles County, California, and they were together until death separated them on March 22, 2001. William Hanna died at age 90 years old on March 22, 2001 at North Hollywood in Los Angeles, and was buried on March 24, 2001 in Lake Forest, Orange County.
