William (Aka Michael) Elliott Motherwell Kyle was born on July 1, 1898 in Fintona, Tyrone County to Isabella Kyle and Robert James Kyle, and had siblings Kathleen Elizabeth Kyle, William Hazlett Kyle, Robert Hazlett Kyle, Minnie Winifred Kyle, Evelyn Gertrude Kyle, Isobel Olivia Kyle, and Lillian Beatrice Kyle. He married Mary Ann Ivy Clay. He would also marry Mary Ann Ivy Clay. William (Aka Michael) Kyle died at age 41 years old on May 29, 1940, and was buried William Elliot Motherwell Kyle (1898 - 1940) was born in Fintona, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. William (aka Michael) died on May 29, 1940 during the evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force from Dunkirk. He was survived by his widow Mary Ann Ivy (nee Clay) and his daughter Kathleen Mary Kyle (born May 3, 1940.There is a commemoration for him at Dunkirk Memorial, Column 13 in Northern Ireland.
