    William F. Fudale, 79, of Willoughby Hills, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011. He was born in Maynard March 6, 1931, the son of Frank and Mary (Bayda) Fudale. He graduated from St. Clairsville High School in 1949. After active duty in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, he graduated from Kent State University in 1956. He became a C.P.A. in 1960. After graduation from law school in 1967, he entered private practice, and resumed his military commitment in the Reserves. He was the first referee of the Willoughby Municipal Court and was a magistrate in the Lake County Juvenile Court. He was also a part-time instructor at Garfield Senior College. He was an usher at Immaculate Conception Church for over 40 years. For many years he was involved in little league sports in the city of Willoughby. In addition to the professional organizations, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Serra Club, the American Legion 666, V.F.W. 1500, D.A.V, and the Marine Corps League; he was also a member of SNPJ Lodge 275 and PNA Lodge 55 in Maynard and Breakfast in the Park Club. He was a lifetime member of the U.S.M.C. Reserves and the Reserve Officers of America. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Theresa (Gentile) Fudale; children, Frank (Sharon) Fudale, Laurie (Jeffrey) Laturell, William (Anna) Fudale, Edward (Donna) Fudale, Karen (Dave) Oesterle, Janeen Williams and Jason Williams; grandchildren, Gavin, Nicole, Jeffrey, Jamie, Alyssa, Matthew, Lauren, Bill, Gabriela, Halina, Ashley, Carly, Michael and Garrett; great-granddaughter, Giavonna; and brother, James (Jackie) Fudale. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday in Immaculate Conception Church, 37932 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will follow at Western Reserve. Visitation will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
