He married Ada Wynkoop Fogler. He also married Ada Wynkoop Fogler. He also married Ada Fogler, and they had a child Frances Eileen Fogler Hedges. William Fogler died at age 92 years old on January 11, 1990.

I can remember is the fourth grade my teacher wanted us to write a sentence. I wrote that my grandfather ran up the hill. When Miss Richards read my sentence, she looked at me at said, "your grandfather doesn't run up the hill." My response was that he did. My grandfather used to play hide and seek with us, and he was very good at hiding. The only thing that gave him away was when he started to laugh. Grandpa Fogler was one of a kind. I sometimes hear his laughter.
