MY MARRIAGE TO WILLIAM HARRY SAMFORD JR
Sallie Sue Coats Samford and William Harry Samford Jr. were married in Houston Tx in 1964. First child, a son, Christopher Allen Samford was born August 27 1965. Second son. Shannon Lee Samord born February 27 1969. There were 5 miscarriages before Billy and Sue divorced in 1970. To my knowledge. In 2022, Billy only has two living children. Chris and Lee Samford. We saw Billy only once briefly in the late 70'S before losing total contact with him. We learned he had died from a Google search. Billy's mother was Edith Haugh and his father was William Harry Samford Sr. They had four sons before divorcing. The boys were William Harry Samford Jr. Larry Samford, Thomas Samford the 2nd son to oldest was given up for adoption...
