From facebook - PLEASE share this photo so it may arrive home to his family as they came hundreds of miles to his grave and did not find him..I was in the reichwald war cemetery and found a wooden cross in the wall where the name book is.It said on the back of the cross please put this cross on w h whitcombe grave as the time there was no book there to look up on..Well sylvia and i went on a mission to put this cross on the grave.We found it eventually at the back,in the corner,blocK55 row F3 .trooper; William henry whitcombe, 5th ROYAL INNISKILLIN DRAGOON GUARDS BORN 1924::: number 7960238 ;;;;DIED; APRIL 1ST 1945..please all help me so his photo will arrive home to his family .THE FAMILY ..whitcombe thankyou danke
