    William Caruso Obituary William John Caruso died Friday the 26th of April. He was 65 years old. Born in Orange, New Jersey and lived in New Jersey for 31 years before moving to Houston. Bill retired as a Loan Officer from RMC Vanguard Mortgage Corporation in 2010. Bill loved to golf and fish with his many friends, but his family always came first, he loved cooking for the family on Sundays and spending time with his children and grandchildren Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Marilyn (Foley); 2 sons, 1 daughter, 3 grandchildren. His children included, William J. Caruso, Houston, Texas, Joseph C. Caruso of Houston Texas, Claire E. & Mauricio Garcia, Houston, Texas. Grandchildren included, Avery Beckstrom, Houston, Texas and Nicholas and Dante Caruso of Houston, Texas. Survivors also include a brother, Neil Caruso of Woodbridge Twp., New Jersey. A Funeral Mass will Friday, May 17th at 11am at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, Texas 77379. A Memorial for William J. Caruso will held in New Jersey at a later date in August. Published by Houston Chronicle on May 10, 2013.

The man, Nathuram Godse, shot Gandhi 3 times. He died immediately. The shooter was tried, convicted, and hung in November 1949.
