    William Keck Obituary September 4, 1968 - September 3, 2017 Bill Keck passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2017. He was a wonderful son, a loving brother, an adoring uncle and a good friend. Bill loved sports and excelled at volleyball, paddle tennis and golf. He had a loving and kind spirit, a wonderful sense of humor and a true zest for life. Bill graduated from The University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in Economics and received a Masters Degree in Real Estate from The University of Southern California. He was a successful commercial real estate broker. He was on the Executive Committee at the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate. He served on the Executive Board of the W. M. Keck Foundation and he was a Director of the W.M. Keck Jr. Foundation. Bill was the cornerstone for activities in the lives of all who knew him. His gentle spirit and big smile will be remembered by all. Memorial Service will be held honoring Bill at Matthews Parish Church in Pacific Palisades on September 19 at 4 p.m.

In the William Keck case, Katherine Keck, as administrator of her son's estate, sued the Bel-Air Bay Club and won a $12 million verdict, with the jury finding the club 80% at fault for Keck's death, after he suffered a fatal heatstroke while playing paddle tennis at a tournamen
