He married Mildred (Cox) Mccreadie on August 4, 1993 in Jefferson County, TX and they later separated on March 3, 1996 in Tyler County. He would also marry Lucy D. (Langley) Mccreadie on December 11, 2000 in Tyler County. William McCreadie died at age 88 years old on August 12, 2011, and was buried at Houston National Cemetery
