Obituary

William Broderson, age 98, was born October 12, 1915, in Sulphur, OK. He was the son of W.A. and Beulah (Turner) Broderson. He passed away peacefully on May 8, 2014. Bill graduated from Putnam City High School in 1935. He married Margaret Schneider on November 18, 1936, in Purcell, OK. Bill was a welder by trade and pipelined across the country for several years before he moved to Eunice, LA to work for American Louisiana Pipeline Company. He retired in 1980 as area manager superintendent for ANR Pipeline Company. Bill was a member of Putnam City Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister; and beloved wife, Margaret. He is survived by daughters, Carolyn Reynolds, of the home, and Diane Manuel, of Eunice, LA; his three grandchildren, John Reynolds and wife Lauren, of Green Bay, WI, Kimberley Mhire, of Lake Charles, LA, and Shelli Ford, of Yukon, OK; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Mhire, of Lake Charles, LA, and Madaline Ford, of Yukon, OK; his sister-in-law, Charlotte Milner, and nephew, George Hart and wife Sharon, all of Yukon, OK; and other extended family members and friends. The family would like to thank Visiting Angels, especially caregiver, Kiley Vasquez, for five years of dedicated service. Visitation will be held from 12 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
