He had siblings Isabella Tate Shellcot, George Akhurst Shellcot, Alfred Paul Shellcot, Ethel Frances Shellcot, and Francis Edward Shellcot. William Schellcot died at age 13 years old in 1893 in Korumburra, South Gippsland Shire County.
