He married Rose Marie (Pendergraft) Walley on December 7, 1963 at Fairhope Ave. Baptist Church in Fairhope, Baldwin County, and they were married until William's death on October 19, 2007 at home in Fairhope. He had children William Thomas Walley III, John Calvin Walley, Matthew Richard Walley, and Eisabeth Marie Walley. William Walley was buried in October 2007 at Magnolia Springs Cemetary in Magnolia Springs.
