Xavier Joseph Breigenzer is the son of Joseph John Breigenzer (1887-1964) and Catherine P Dengel (1891-1981). He was born on March 24, 1921 in Morrison, Minnesota, USA and had siblings Caroline M (born 1916), Angeline Catherine (1918-2003), and Elsinore N Breigenzer (1929-1998). They grew up in Kenosha, Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA. On August 24, 1942 he married Eunice Hendrickson (1923-2012) at St Mark's Church and they had multiple children together. The next month after getting married, Xavier enlisted into the United States Army on September 28, 1942 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He served until his discharge date of February 11, 1946.
