She and her husband traveled all over the world. They had a big house, log cabin and property on McHenry Road in Wheeling, Illinois. Xenia was a Girl Scout leader and shared her knowledge and wealth with local girls. Her husband was L. Denoyer of the Denoyer-Gephart Map Co. The cabin fireplace included stones that she collected all over the world and and it still stands today as a historical monument.
