Any connection to the Beach line from Belding Michigan? That's where mine starts .
Zelotes was an Alien. He just appears in the Census in 1840. There is no record of him before this. People are going around saying Ashbel beach (1755-1846) and Anna Bellamy (1757-1829) were his parents. This is not possible since the only male child they had was named Samuel and was born in 1784. It would have been more likely that Samuel could have been his father rather than Ashbel. There is no evidence of either and there is no birth certificate. I wish people would show proof rather than post the lies all over genealogy sites.
