1960 The Marine Corps

James M Farnum was my father and best friend, he was born in 1943 in Chicago Illinois. Jim was loved by many and was a good son, brother and father. My dad was my best friend and was always there when I needed him. He loved music, movies and all the latest tech. In the 80's he was one of the 1st people in Illinois to get cable TV and was on the channel 5 news about it. He loved the Chicago White Sox, the Chicago Bears, the Bulls, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I took him to see a White Sox game on his 50th Birthday and Frank Thomas hit a home run right to us. It is one of my best memories, it was a perfect game. In 1998 Him and I went to about 40 Devil Rays games in their 1st season, no beer or bag peanuts was safe from us! In the last years of his life I got to spend a ton of time with him and i thank God for every second of it. Hanging out, watching fights, football and playing darts, I miss him like no other!
