While the man standing appears to be of dark complexion, he is not...I believe he is in a shadow. I can see he is of light complexion. The man seated has light colored eyes. This is a 1 cent postcard addressed to Miss Susan Polley of Beloit, Wisconsin (no stamp) and the note mentions Carrie Johnson. The note asks about Miss Polley's mother but is signed "Momma & all". It looks like the 2 women are related.
Don't know who these people are. I bought the picture in an antique store in Oakland, Oregon. I wanted to get it back to it's family.
