George Franklin McKinnon at a beach in New York. He was the son of John McKinnon and Sarah Jane Gillan. George was born in Canton, St. Lawrence, New York on 28 Jul 1875 and died in Oakland, Alameda, California on 10 Aug 1958. He married Pearl Etta Walker about 1895. Their children were Bernard Basil (b1898), Richard Francis (b1903), Viola Veronica (b1905), Marion Mable (b1907), Paul James (b1908), and John Leo (b1911).
